I had observed that one of our payment WT maintained in IT0014 do not pay for Ist split of WPBP,
In detailed:
A set of employees are paid through a WT (Production Incentive)for the month of March 2014 through the IT0014.Now in the April month these employees have Promotion action run effective March 21st.hence for the month of March there is WPBP split.
now when Payroll is run in April system went for Retro from March and observed that arrears are generated against this wagetype with amount exactly being prorated as of the Ist split.(01.03.2014 to 20.03.2014)
suppose employee is paid with 3100 INR in March and in April- Promotion action is run effective 21.03.2014 and when we run the payroll of April an arrear amount if 2000INR (in negative) is created. and payment is 1100
(3100*20/31=2000 proration of Ist split)
(3100*11/31=1100 proration of 2nd split)
Can any one suggest what could be the reason and how to resolve this.
PS: in processing class 10 -specification 1 is maintained for this WT so as to get the reduction as per the factoring is required.
